All was good.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach. The environment is lovely and chilled out. The food is delicious and freshly cooked. The staff is very nice, helpful, and always smiling. The atmosphere has a great vibe.

Located on a stunning sandy beach with beautiful ocean views. Friendly staff go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. Clean and safe accommodations. Delicious food with a romantic beachside dining option. A perfect place to relax and unwind.

Affordable stay, had the shared room to myself, friendly staff and guests, beautiful and well-maintained place, perfect for budget travelers.

We had a fantastic stay at Bara Beach Home! The location was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful stretch of quiet beach right at our doorstep. We loved falling asleep and waking up to the soothing sound of the waves. The lounge options along the water were perfect for relaxation, and the shade provided a nice respite from the sun. The bar and restaurant offered delicious food and drinks, especially the passion fruit daiquiri during their awesome Happy Hour. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. Additionally, the easy access to the shopping streets of Galle and Hikkaduwa was a practical perk. we highly recommend this hotel for a great beach getaway.

We had an exceptional experience at this beachfront hostel. the staff, including Elena and the manager, were incredibly friendly and kind. the location was perfect, just steps away from the beach, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean. the cozy and comfortable rooms were a great value for money. We also enjoyed the delicious food and affordable prices at the bar. it was the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Limited facilities and occasional electrical cut-offs were the only drawbacks.

We had a fantastic time at Bara Beach Home! The cabins were cute and comfortable, with lovely views of the sunset. The location right on the beach was perfect and only a short bus ride to Galle. The host, Bara, was incredibly helpful and always had a smile on his face. The local cuisine was delicious, especially the coconut curry and daal. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to participate in yoga sessions, beach activities, and sightseeing. The live music on Saturdays added to the fun ambiance. we would definitely recommend this hotel for a beach getaway in Sri Lanka.

The New Year experience at this beachfront hotel was amazing! the staff was super friendly and helpful, always providing great advice. the atmosphere was incredible, creating a great vibe throughout our stay. Plus, the location couldn't have been better - right next to the beach, with breathtaking views and the sound of the ocean as the soundtrack to our holiday.

There were a few things that could have been better. the accommodations were a bit basic and not very luxurious, but they were comfortable enough for a few nights.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the beach with comfy beach beds to relax on. The sound of the waves at night was so soothing, it made for a great night's sleep. the hotel offered great happy hour cocktails that were a highlight of our stay.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. The door of the cabana we were given didn't lock properly, which made us concerned about the security of our belongings.

Small and basic amenities.

The location of the hotel is great, right next to the beach, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. the cozy cabanas provide a comfortable and relaxing space for a good night's sleep. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering a tuk-tuk service to explore the nearby town of Galle.

The bathroom only has cold water, which can be inconvenient especially during cooler seasons.
